DYXnet Rolls Out Responsive Website

New Design Optimizes Viewing Experience across All Devices

(Hong Kong, January 13, 2015) DYXnet, the leading Greater China’s ICT (Information and Communications Technology) service provider, is pleased to announce that it has launched a responsive website that allows enhanced viewing experience for various users on multiple devices. With more users accessing websites through different devices - from laptops, tablets to smartphones - DYXnet’s responsive website provides cross browsers and multiple devices capabilities. Within this re-designed website, all contents, including images, text, multimedia videos, etc., will be optimized for viewing on any device or screen size. Additionally, its web accessibility features specifically addresses the needs of disabled users and ensures acceptable ease of use.

Wallace Ng, Co-CEO of Network Business of DYXnet states, “Our website is an important tool to communicate with our existing and potential customers. In view of the massive growth of users accessing Internet via smartphones and tablets, it is imperative to create a responsive website that can perfectly fit in the visitors’ specific viewing environment. With the new design, the website stays consistent regardless of the user device, eliminating the need to pinch and zoom while navigating the site; and thus enhancing the viewing experience. In addition, we cover web accessibility features on top of the responsive capabilities so as to take care of digital experience of various users and ensure that our website is user-friendly that allows access with no limitation.”

Responsive web design is an approach of laying-out and coding a website responding to the user’s behavior and environment based on screen size, platform and orientation, giving the user an incredible viewing experience. While the new design eases navigation, scrolling and resizing of the website across a wide range of devices such as tablets, smartphones and laptops, it also provides optimal viewing experience with no limitation on browsers, screen resolutions and devices.

Regarding the web accessibility, it is not about how a website can be "accessible" by search engines, but is about how to design a website that is suitable for everyone, no matter who they are or how they access the Internet. It also specifically addresses the needs of, including but not limited to, persons with disabilities and persons with specific difficulties such as the elderly and persons beset with color-blindness, cognitive and physical issues such as dyslexia, epilepsy, etc.
