DYXnet Group Launches ONE Cloud Director

Maximizing Enterprises’ Agility to Manage the Access and Consumption of Virtual Resources by end users

(Hong Kong, July 26, 2012) DYXnet, the leading Greater China communications Technology (ICT) Service Provider, is pleased to announce today its launch of ONE Cloud Director, strengthening its leadership in delivering Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS). Based on VMware vCloud Director, One Cloud Director empowers customers to deliver infrastructure or data centre on-demand, maximizing their agility to manage the access and consumption of virtual resources by end users.

By extending the capabilities of VMware vSphere, ONE Cloud Director enables customers to accelerate provisioning of intelligent virtual machines (VMs) and switch workloads between different clouds with greater autonomy and control, further enhancing the deployment of virtual resources on demand. Within the multitenant environment, customers can maintain security and control by using policy-based user controls and VMware vShield. ONE Cloud Director not only increases data centre flexibility by using open standards for interoperability and application portability between clouds, but also decreases costs significantly with consolidated infrastructure and configurable, easy-to-manage virtual data centres that help quickly deliver resources to end users.

Mr. Lap Man, Founder & CEO of DYXnet, stated: “ONE Cloud Director takes us to a whole new level of cloud hosting by giving enterprises and resellers the power to create a virtual data centre the way they want. Customers can now create VMs, organization networks and firewalls with simple mouse clicks based on the given resources, including CPU, RAM and Storage, to various end users through a self-service, user-friendly portal, leaving DYXnet the responsibility to host and manage the secure cloud platform.”

With the emergence of cloud computing, DYXnet’s Cloud Dedicated Hosting service, which was launched in 2010, is well-received among customers. Some of them start to look for a more robust, self-manageable yet affordable solution so that they can have greater control and flexibility to allocate resources in a cost-effective way. In view of this, DYXnet is delighted to introduce ONE Cloud Director that allow its customers to reconfigure network resources, move data between clouds or change virtual applications efficiently all by themselves without large amount of initial investment. At a relative low monthly fee, customers can also enjoy wide variety of virtual resources, including independent vCPU and vRAM for each VM, standard or high performance storage, as well as flexible network connectivity such as Internet and MPLS private network.
